Who We Are
All India Movement for Service (AIMS) seeks to extend social welfare to people belonging to a broad social category. Our organisation deals with various social issues mainly child safety, sexual abuse against women and children and their rights, education, food distribution, education and awareness and women empowerment. AIMS was founded by Mr. Ranga Babu and Mrs. Kanya Babu in Chennai. During the Chennai floods of 2015, our co-founder worked along with the Greater Chennai Corporation by gathering 2000 volunteers which paved the way to the creation of AIMS. Though our organisation has a broad and diverse target group, we give special attention to cases relating to women and children. AIMS believes that women and children are the most vulnerable sections in any social group and therefore need to get wider representation and better protection. As a result, AIMS has played a central role in bringing them justice in many cases they have undertaken.
AIMS vision is a progress in the social conditions that pertains to the exclusion and exploitation of women and children. We believe that this is a continuous process that needs to be achieved through education, counselling, empowerment and judicial representation. Therefore, we also work in these fields to create a cumulative change. AIMS is also a staunch champion for women and kids with no one to depend on. Our help also extends to the rural community where they are placed in a worse situation.
