Welcome to our Survivors' Stories section, where we share the powerful and inspiring journeys of children who have overcome the horrors of sexual abuse. These stories are a testament to the strength and resilience of young survivors who have faced unimaginable challenges and emerged stronger. Through their words, we aim to shed light on the realities of child sexual abuse, break the silence, and inspire change. Each narrative is a beacon of hope, illustrating the importance of support, justice, and healing in the lives of those affected by these heinous crimes.


A Fight for Justice – 4-Year-Old Survivor

In 2019, a 61-year-old man and his wife were involved in the rape and murder of a 4-year-old girl, with the wife aiding in concealing the body. AIMS intervened, collaborating with Tamil Nadu police to support the victim’s family for three years. The case concluded in the Honourable POCSO Court Tiruvallur, with both accused receiving double life sentences.

Voices Of Courage – 16-Year-Old Survivor

A biological father repeatedly raped a minor daughter for 7 years, forcing her into an abortion with the help of his wife. AIMS rescued the girl and intervened in the case. AIMS also provided counseling for her. Both accused were sentenced to death by the Honourable POCSO Court in Chennai.

Standing Strong for Justice – 13-Year-Old Survivor

A 13-year-old girl was raped on the premises of Marina Beach in 2018 by a horserider. AIMS has worked along with the police department to take the case forward with court proceedings to get justice and has provided counseling and other legal support to the victim and her family.

Strength, Courage, and Justice – 11-Year-Old Survivor

An 11-year-old girl was raped by a neighbor and dumped in a vacant plot behind her house. AIMS has been continuously helping the girl’s family amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and providing legal assistance to obtain justice.


Supporting A 16-Year-Old Girl Towards Justice.

The 16-year-old girl's biological father abused her when she was a young child. Together with her brother, she launched a lawsuit against her father. AIMS has stepped in, given the victim counseling, and helped her with her legal needs. Accused was sentenced to death by the Honourable POCSO Court in Chennai.
AIMS filed a case demanding Rs 10 lakh compensation for the survivor due to the trauma inflicted by a nurse who mocked her during medical treatment. The nurse had previously abused a girl who was also a victim of child sexual abuse.

Supporting A Sports Player Survivor

A young girl endured years of sexual abuse by her sports coach, beginning at age 13. Betrayed by those closest to her, she found the courage to report the abuse at 19, only to face severe retaliation that cost her job. With unwavering support from AIMS, she is now fighting for justice and reclaiming her passion for sports.

Supporting An 11-Year-Old Survivor

An 11-year-old girl faced unimaginable sexual abuse at the hands of her own father. He did not only stop there; he also disrupted her education, forcing her to drop out of regular school. Despite her mother's awareness of the situation, it took years for the truth to come out.When she was in 10th grade, with her grandfather\’s support, she took legal action.Now, AIMS is helping her with counseling, legal support, and fighting for justice.

Supporting A 6-Year-Old Girl With Care And Protection

The 6-year-old girl was abused by her house owner when her single mother was away at work. She told her mother about the incident, and her mother filed a complaint. AIMS NGO is providing counselling support and guiding them through the legal process.


Supporting A 6-Year-Old Boy With Care And Protection

A 6-year-old boy was subjected to homosexual abuse by an older boy neighbour from North India. He told his parents about the incident, and they immediately filed a complaint. Kanyadevi, President of AIMS, has been appointed as a support person. AIMS is providing counselling support and guiding them through the legal process.

A 16-year-old girl was sexually abused by her father. When she shared this with a Snapchat friend, he tried to blackmail and abuse her. The truth came out, and both her father and the Snapchat friend were arrested and are facing legal consequences. AIMS is providing her with counselling and legal support through this tough time.
